De Oude Markt Sing-A-Long: An Evening Full of Sing-alongs and Fun!
On Saturday night, July 6, 2024, the very first Oude Markt Sing-A-Long will take place in Enschede. An evening of great singing along with hits from ABBA, Queen, De Dijk, Rob de Nijs etc.
The songs will be performed by presenter/singer René van Kooten, the Wilmink Project Orchestra and the singers of Wilminks Kweek. The evening takes place at the Oude Markt in Enschede and starts at 19.00 and lasts until 21.00. Entrance is free!
MeezingKoor
The public on the terraces and on the Oude Markt can of course sing along to their heart's content. To get them in the right mood, we are organizing a MeezingKoor. Led by conductor Resy Weernink, this choir will rehearse five songs in three parts (Sopranos/Alten/Men) during a number of rehearsals. These include Queen (Somebody to Love) and Teach In (Ding-e-Dong) and the well-known You'll Never Walk Alone.
Due to the Netherlands-Turkey quarterfinal, the start of the Sing-A-Long has been moved to 7 p.m.
