A new festival on the Oude Markt with a red hue – sponsored by Grolsch.

Especially for Enschede700, the city of Enschede will be in the spotlight during Ascension weekend on May 30 & 31 with the Red Roots Festival on the Oude Markt! This brand-new, free festival, celebrating Enschede's rich history and creative future, promises to offer an unforgettable music experience during this special anniversary year.

For two evenings, you can enjoy live performances by top artists. The headliners of the festival are already known! None other than Waylon, Jett Rebel, Miss Montreal, Jeangu Macrooy, and Luke Christoffel & The Golden Tears will perform in Enschede. These artists all have a special connection with Enschede and Twente, creating a unique atmosphere where the city and its musical roots take center stage. The lineup has been programmed by Metropool | Poppodia van Twente. The rest of the program will be announced soon.

Grolsch is excited to celebrate Enschede's 700th anniversary with the people of Enschede. The Red Roots Festival is a production of Metropool | Poppodia van Twente and Enschede Promotion.
