Hof Espelo
The old coach house of the Rentmeester of Hof Espelo houses a visitor center of Landschap Overijssel.
Hof Espelo is located on the eastern Dutch plateau, part of the North Sea basin. You can enjoy hiking here.
Visitor Center
You can come here every Sunday for information about nature & landscape in the area, as well as for walking routes or a cup of coffee. Children have a great time in play forest 't Klauterwoud, where they learn about the forest in a playful way. They regularly organize activities here for young and old! The visitor center is also available outside opening hours for children's parties.
Hiking
Hof Espelo is located on the Eastern Dutch plateau, part of the North Sea basin. East of the reserve is the lateral moraine of Enschede. The estate lies north-east of Enschede and south-east of Hengelo. You can walk freely here on roads and paths with the exception of the yards. The main entrance is on the Weerseloseweg. A walking route of about 1 hour and 15 minutes also starts at the main entrance; the route is indicated by posts with a yellow head.
