Although Wooldrikspark only became a park in 1950, the planting and design date back to the 19th century. The park is known for its magnificent trees.

This 6-hectare park was donated to the municipality of Enschede by the couple G.J. van Heek - ter Horste on December 20, 1950. The municipality created a large playground in the park with its old timber stands. An old farm has also been converted into a children's farm.

Dogs must be kept on a lead in the park.

The park is open between sunrise and sunset.
