You can park for free outside the city ring roads, or on the street after 11:00 PM (Zone 1) and after 7:00 PM (Zones 2 to 8). It’s also possible to park for free at Go Planet Parc. From there, you can easily take a bus or train to the city centre. Please note: Paid parking applies to all parking facilities in the city centre.

Enschede station is well connected to the public transport network and just a short walk from the city centre. As soon as you exit the station, you'll arrive at stationsplein. From there, it's just a short stroll straight into the heart of the city. 

You can charge your e-bike at the supervised bike parkings under H.J. van Heekplein and Wilminkplein. 

Unfortunately, Enschede does not have a citycard. However, a special discount card has been created for students studying in Enschede. More information about the Study in Enschede discount card can be found here.

Yes! We have all kinds of leaflets about Enschede, such as a city map, information about the highlights of Enschede, city walks, bicycle routes and much more. You can find the digital folders here. Of course you can also pick up the brochures at the Tourist Info Point on the Langestraat.

There are several public toilets in the downtown area. There are toilets in the Van Heek garage (take the stairs on the square, then you will find the toilets on your left), in the indoor shopping center De Klanderij (next to the Flying Tiger), at Hema and in shopping center Koningsplein (inside next to the Decathlon). There are also public toilets at De Heurne with disabled toilet, family toilet and breastfeeding and pumping area. Here you will also find free taps for drinking water.
